Street Games is a national charity that was set up by organizers of neighbourhood sports projects and works with communities to provide neighbourhood based sport and activities for young people.
In 2005 they came together to make sport more widely available for disadvantaged young people and to maximize the power of sport to change young lives and to change disadvantaged communities.
StreetGames helps over 600 community organisations across the UK to take sport to the doorstep in disadvantaged communities.
Street Games projects offer a wide variety of sports including: multi-sport sessions, football, basketball, futsal, street cheer, street dance, netball, handball, fencing, athletics, angling, badminton, cricket, tri golf, rugby league, rugby union, volleyball, table tennis, tennis, judo, rock climbing & roller sports.
There are also opportunities to support Street Games as a volunteer or as a trained coach.
